This page explains what cookies do, how we remember your analytics choice and when we enable Google Analytics cookies, what the Google map embedded on the home page means for you, and what happens when you send the contact form or open the booking page.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device so it can recognise your browser on a later visit. Other technologies work similarly: local storage, or tracking pixels. Cookies can be essential to a site working, or used for statistics and advertising.

Your choice and essential storage

On your first visit you can accept or reject analytics. We store the choice in local storage as mono-analytics-consent and remember it for 180 days. This entry only remembers your preference. If storage is unavailable, your choice lasts for the current visit. Analytics does not run without JavaScript.

Specifically, the site has none of the following:

  • advertising or remarketing trackers;
  • accounts, logins or baskets that would need a session cookie;
  • social media buttons or embedded posts: the Instagram and Facebook links are plain links that load nothing until you click them.

Fonts are downloaded from this site rather than from Google Fonts, so displaying them does not contact Google at all.

Google Analytics cookies

Before consent and after you reject analytics, the Google Analytics script does not load and no analytics requests are sent. If you agree, first-party _ga and _ga_<identifier> cookies distinguish browsers and maintain session state. They last up to 180 days and may be renewed on visits. Analytics is optional and does not affect site functionality.

Before consent, validated campaign labels from the first landing link stay only in this page’s memory, without browser storage or transmission to Google. After acceptance they help identify the visit’s source. We also measure successful form submissions and booking, email and phone link clicks, using only site language, link placement or contact method and a page address without query strings or fragments. Form contents are never sent to analytics.

The Google map on the home page

At the bottom of the home page we show an embedded Google map so the studio is easy to find. The map operates independently of your analytics choice. Google Analytics loads only if you agree, and Formspree is contacted only when you send the contact form.

The map loads only once it comes close to the screen, for instance when you scroll to the bottom of the home page. From that moment your browser contacts Google's servers directly, so Google may receive your IP address and information about your browser, and may set its own cookies under its own rules. We neither receive nor see any of this, because the map is embedded without any Google account or key.

How Google uses cookies, and how to control that, is set out on its own pages: Google Privacy Policy, how Google uses cookies.

The contact form

Pressing Send transmits the entered details to Formspree. With JavaScript, this happens in the background without sending or storing Formspree cookies. Without JavaScript, the browser opens a Formspree page governed by that service’s rules. More about the data in the privacy policy.

The booking page

The booking links open our booking page on cal.com in a new tab. Nothing from Cal.com loads on this site until you follow one. The booking page is a separate website that uses its own cookies under its own rules: cal.com/privacy.

Controlling cookies

You can change your analytics choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. Rejecting analytics stops measurement and deletes this site’s Google Analytics cookies. Withdrawal does not erase data already collected. You can control other cookies in your browser. There you can review stored cookies, delete them, block third-party cookies, or browse in a private window. With third-party cookies blocked this site works as usual; only the embedded map may behave differently.

If you would rather the map did not load at all, you can avoid scrolling to the bottom of the home page, or use a browser extension that blocks third-party content. The studio's address is always there in text beside the map as well: Jurbarko g. 2A, Kaunas.

Changes

If the cookies we use or their purposes change, we will update this page and its date. We will ask for consent before enabling new optional cookies.
