Privacy Policy
Last updated
This privacy policy explains what personal data MONO Studio receives through this website and when you get in touch with us, what we use it for, how long we keep it, and what rights you have.
Data controller
MONO Studio, a rehearsal and recording studio at Jurbarko g. 2A, Kaunas, is responsible for the processing described in this policy.
For anything to do with your data, write to monostudioslt@gmail.com or call +370 604 28 779.
We have not appointed a data protection officer: the GDPR does not require us to, so we handle every question ourselves.
What this policy covers
This policy covers this website, rehearsal bookings made through the booking links on it, and the correspondence that begins when you submit the contact form or use the contact details published on it.
The site has no sign-up, no accounts, no newsletter and no payments. Its only form is the contact form, delivered by Formspree. Rehearsals are booked on a separate Cal.com page that the booking links open. We collect visitor statistics through Google Analytics only with your consent. We use no advertising trackers.
If our data processing changes, we will update this policy before enabling new services.
What data we process
We process only the data that arises on its own when you use the site, book a rehearsal or get in touch.
- Emails and phone calls
- When you write or call, we receive your email address or phone number and whatever you choose to tell us: your name, your band's name, the rehearsal slot you want, a description of your project. We ask for nothing more and fill in no forms.
- The contact form
- Submitting the contact form sends your name, email address, selected topic and message. Formspree delivers the message and receives technical request information, including your IP address and browser type.
- Rehearsal bookings
- The booking links open our booking page on Cal.com. To book, you give your name, email address, phone number and band name, pick a time, and can add a note. We use these details to confirm the booking and to reach you about it.
- Messages on social networks
- If you write to us on Instagram or Facebook, we see your message and your public profile details. The messaging service itself is run by Meta, which handles the data under its own privacy policy.
- Website server logs
- The site is hosted by Vercel. Like every web server, it automatically records technical request data: IP address, time, the address requested, browser type. We do not use these records to identify visitors. They exist so the site keeps working and stays protected from abuse.
- The Google map on the home page
- An embedded Google map showing the studio's location sits at the bottom of the home page. When it loads, your browser contacts Google's servers directly, so Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. We neither receive nor see any of this. More detail on the cookies page.
You are not obliged to give us any data, but without an email address or phone number we cannot reply, confirm a booking or arrange a recording. We make no automated decisions about you and do no profiling.
Legal basis
We process personal data under Article 6 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- We handle rehearsal bookings and answer enquiries about the rehearsal room, recording or other services at your request, to agree and carry out a contract with you (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- We answer general questions and keep the correspondence so we know what was agreed. That is our legitimate interest in communicating with people who contact us and in running the studio (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
- Server logs are processed so the website keeps working and stays protected from abuse. That is our legitimate interest in a technically sound site (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
- We show the Google map on the home page so the studio is easy to find. That is our legitimate interest in showing where we are (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
If you believe this processing unduly affects your interests or rights, you can object to it (see “Your rights” below).
How long we keep it
- We keep correspondence for as long as it takes to finish the conversation and settle any questions arising from it. We delete it on request, unless we are legally required to keep it.
- Contact-form messages are kept like other correspondence. The Formspree Free plan makes submission history available for 30 days; the provider keeps other technical data under its own policy.
- Booking details are kept for as long as they are needed to run the booking and settle anything arising from it. Where a rehearsal is paid for, the accounting records are kept for as long as the law requires.
- Server logs are kept by the hosting provider under its own retention periods; we do not collect or archive them separately.
- Data connected with the Google map is handled and kept by Google under its own retention periods.
Who else can reach the data
We do not sell your data and do not pass it to third parties for marketing. It is accessible only to the studio team and to the providers without which the site, bookings and our correspondence would not work:
- Vercel (website hosting)
- Vercel Inc. hosts the site and serves its requests. It processes only technical server logs and acts as a processor on our instructions. Its privacy notice: vercel.com/legal/privacy-notice.
- Google (the map embed)
- The map is provided by Google. When it loads, Google receives data directly from your browser and processes it as a separate controller under its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
- Formspree (contact form delivery)
- Formspree, Inc. receives the form contents and forwards them to the selected studio contact-form inbox. Data may be processed in the United States. Privacy policy: Formspree Privacy Policy.
- Cal.com (rehearsal booking)
- Cal.com, Inc. runs the booking page, stores the booking details and sends the confirmation emails, acting as a processor on our instructions. Data may be processed in the United States. Its privacy policy: cal.com/privacy.
- Google (email)
- The studio's email runs on Gmail, so the messages you send us are stored there.
- Meta (Instagram and Facebook)
- If you write to us on Instagram or Facebook, your messages are carried and stored by Meta, which processes the data as a separate controller under its own privacy policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. Where a provider is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, the transfer relies on the European Commission's adequacy decision for it. Otherwise it relies on the Commission's standard contractual clauses or on the other safeguards the provider sets out in its privacy documents.
Google Analytics with your consent
Google Analytics 4 starts only after you choose Accept analytics. We measure page visits, successful contact-form submissions and clicks on booking, email and phone links. A click does not mean a completed booking, sent email or connected call. Google receives technical browser and device information and cookie identifiers; we receive reports. We never send the form’s name, email address, topic or message to analytics. Page addresses are sent without query strings or fragments. Separately, we send only validated campaign labels from utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_id, utm_content and utm_term to identify a marketing link’s source and campaign. These labels must contain no personal data. Advertising features and Google Signals are disabled.
This processing is based on your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time through Cookie settings in the footer; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. The service is provided by Google Ireland Limited and data may be processed outside the EEA. We limit analytics cookies to 180 days. Google’s analytics data retention periods depend on the Analytics service and this property’s retention settings.
Google: policies.google.com/privacy.
Keeping data safe
The site is served only over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Correspondence and bookings are accessible only to the studio team. No measure is completely proof against everything, so please do not email us special category data, such as health information or copies of identity documents. We will never ask you for any.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights, to the extent they apply to the processing in question:
- Access
- to find out whether we process your data and to receive a copy of it.
- Rectification
- to have inaccurate data corrected or incomplete data completed.
- Erasure
- to have data deleted once it is no longer needed for the purpose it was obtained for.
- Restriction
- to have processing paused while a disputed point is resolved.
- Objection
- to object to processing that rests on our legitimate interest.
- Portability
- to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format, or to have it sent to another controller, where the processing rests on a contract or consent and is carried out by automated means.
To exercise any of these, write to monostudioslt@gmail.com. We will answer within one month at the latest; if a request is complex we may extend that by a further two months and will tell you if we do. So that we do not disclose data to the wrong person, we may ask you to confirm which email address or phone number you contacted us from.
Complaints
If you believe we are handling your data improperly, please write to us first and we will try to sort it out quickly. You also always have the right to contact the supervisory authority:
- The State Data Protection Inspectorate (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija)
- L. Sapiegos g. 17, 10312 Vilnius, Lithuania

Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, for example by adding visitor statistics or online payments, we will update this policy and change the date shown at the top. Substantial changes will be announced on the site in advance.
